What I found comforting is he started his journey from a place of skepticism. Those of us who have experienced such a tragedy has asked questions of why? I feel that I was "led" to this book for specific reasons. Hours after reading a few chapters, my son's soul reached out.... before having read this book, I wouldn't have known what to look out for. Thank you!
I was expecting more about the relationship with his son. I appreciate the time and effort but just wanted to hear more about his relationship with his son.

This is a wonderful book for those who have lost a child. I found that a lot of my personal experiences have paralleled the author's, and his writings of his experiences are very comforting.
An honest, brave telling of one mans spiritual journey and awakening, brought on by the tragic suicide of his young adult son, from skeptic to medium. Reminds us that sometimes the most painful and heartbreaking experience can bring about life changing, soul changing journeys that bring us to our true selves.
This speaks to my soul and heart! I find wisdom and hope in these pages. As a parent who has lost a child, this is a book I can wrap my head around.
It's an odd little book -- enjoyable to read but Dad goes way off into his own journey -- I was thinking the book was more about his son, but it's not. This book brings up many interesting ideas, I am not sure what I think of parts of it yet, but this Dad has transformed his life and for that I congratulate him.
